Just loaded up on every painkiller known to man to stop him from realizing he had a fracture in his tibial plateau in his leg and a badly sprained MCL.

Despite that awesome night, the 2018 season was a lost one for Green Bay. McCarthy’s act ran old. The defense was abysmal. After Davante Adams, Rodgers was left with a bunch of rookies he didn’t trust to throw to. This year is different. Gute went out and got Za’darius Smith, Preston Smith, and Adrian Amos to ramp up the defense. He drafted Rashan Gary and Darnell Savage Jr. in the first two rounds to sure everything else up. The defense is different. The receivers that Rodgers didn’t trust last year are now guys he is comfortable throwing to. Davante, Geronimo, MVS, Darius Shepherd, Lazard and Kumerow. That’s a deep receiving core that not many people know about. I super excited to see Kumerow actually get some game action after missing all over last season.
